Meet the Team
2023 is the start of something big! For the first time, the Careers Centraal team is joining forces with the leading HR consultancy Clevis Consult to bring unique career opportunities to students and graduates.
Alexandros Leontiou, David Koch, Nils Arians, and Daniel Spilles, 4 International Business Administration students in their second bachelor year at the Rotterdam School of Management, form the core of our internal team and are looking forward to working with the future students and our highly appreciated partner companies.
We use a close network of industry specialists and leading companies to provide currently relevant career advice for our students and an opportunity for close networking and placement in internships, working student jobs, and permanent positions.
Our Story
Alexandros, David, Nils, and Daniel got to know each other back at the beginning of 2022 as part of a medium-term university project, the Strategic Business Plan, and got on very well right from the start. The months of collaboration quickly developed into a close friendship – with each other, as well as with the CEO of the SBP company CLEVIS Consult, Matthias Höfer, and the entire team.
After the completion of the Strategic Business Plan, however, this cooperation was not to end immediately. With the idea of making HR interesting again outside the lecture hall, the team developed a new Strategic Business Plan – but this time for Careers Centraal.
After numerous trips to Munich to the office of CLEVIS Consult, an initial idea quickly turned into a complete model, which offers our students, our partner companies and the company itself enormous added value in various areas. After working out all these ideas, Careers Centraal was created according to our principles Learn, Connect, Emerge.
Our Founders
Alexandros Leontiou
Alexandros is a young, ambitious student from Limassol, Cyprus, who is currently studying International Business Administration in his second year at the Rotterdam School of Management. However, he is also involved in numerous activities outside of his studies and has, for example, founded the Rotterdam Cypriot Society and found a place as an intern at Deloitte. Above all, Alexandros shines through his ambitions and passion, people skills, analytical abilities, and his friendly manner.
He complements our team mainly by maintaining our partner network, coordinating learnings and workshops, as well as strategic planning for the future of Careers Centraal.
Nils Arians
Nils is also studying International Business Administration at the Rotterdam School of Management – but decided to also start a Double-Bachelors Degree in Philosophy and become a Student Representative. Besides numerous projects he is pursuing, he has already gained experience in M&A and investment banking as an intern and shines especially through his high ambitions, his high willingness to learn, and his quick implementation of concepts.
As part of our team, he contributes to the organization and coordination within the company strategy by maintaining the partner network, seeking contact with new potential companies, and helping to develop concepts and learnings for our students.
Nils Arians
Nils is also studying International Business Administration at the Rotterdam School of Management – but decided to also start a Double-Bachelors Degree in Philosophy and become a Student Representative. Besides numerous projects he is pursuing, he has already gained experience in M&A and investment banking as an intern and shines especially through his high ambitions, his high willingness to learn, and his quick implementation of concepts.
As part of our team, he contributes to the organization and coordination within the company strategy by maintaining the partner network, seeking contact with new potential companies, and helping to develop concepts and learnings for our students.
Daniel Spilles
Daniel is a second-year student of International Business Administration at the Rotterdam School of Management. As a student investor at B&R Beurs Rotterdam and a member of the investment group INVICTI, he is interested in everything related to investment and finance. Besides numerous personal projects, he stands out for his determination and work ethic to bring Careers Centraal a step forward every day.
He complements our team mainly through strategic planning and in the marketing and social media area, ensuring that students are informed about current industry trends and HR knowledge.
David Koch
David studies International Business Administration at the Rotterdam School of Management. As a student investor at B&R Beurs Rotterdam and a member of the investment group INVICTI he is involved in investment and finance. However, one of his main interests is consulting and therefore he works part-time as a working student on the day-to-day business of CLEVIS Consult and thus brings experience in HR consulting.
As part of the team, he is the perfect contact person due to his previous experience for any student who has questions regarding a career in the HR sector, for which he cooperates with our industry experts. He also contributes to the marketing and social media of Careers Centraal.
David Koch
David studies International Business Administration at the Rotterdam School of Management.
